Please find below what you need to learn before applying for upgrade.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR UPGRADE?
Special Edition products purchased from February, 13, 2008 to July, 13, 2009 are eligible for free one-year upgrades.
Special Edition products purchased since July, 13, 2009 are eligible for upgrades for $99 per year.
Standard Edition products are eligible for free lifetime upgrades.

WHO CARRIES OUT UPGRADES?
We can perform default* upgrades for our customers who is eligible for tech support, i.e.:
- Standard Edition customers within their free tech support period of 6 months,
- or Special Edition customers who has bought at least one month of tech support
on their demand as it is described below in the "Three Ways to Perform Upgrade" section.
(*Default upgrade does not save custom changes in templates and/or functionality made on your site.)

The customers who do not purchase tech support, are not eligible for it, and thus they perform upgrade themselves and are responsible for all changes made.

HOW DOES AN UPGRADE PERFORM?
There are three ways to perform upgrade:

1. FULL UPGRADE: it includes new functionality, database changes, bug fixing and template changes.
a. Advantages:
you always have an up-to-date version of the software, where you always have less bugs;
b. Disadvantages:
in case your templates were customized, most likely they will be broken. In case you have custom features/functionality, an upgrade may affect it.
c. Resolution:
please contact our Support Dept. and they will analyze if it is possible to save your changes in templates/functionality after the upgrade. Our Sales Dept. will provide you with a quote in case some extra work is necessary in order to save your customizations.

2. FUNCTIONAL UPGRADE: it includes new functionality, database changes and bug fixing.
a. Advantages:
you always have a fresh set of features, where you always have less bugs;
and your templates stay the same, an upgrade will not affect them.
b. Disadvantages:
in case there were some bugs or errors in templates, you will have to get rid of them manually.
c. Resolution:
please contact our Support Dept. and they will help you to find places in templates where a fix is necessary. Our Sales Dept. will provide you with a quote in case some extra work should be done in order to fix your templates.

3. TEMPLATE UPGRADE: it includes database changes, template modifications (e.g. new field addition to forms) and template bug fixing.
a. Advantages:
you have a template with less bugs;
and your database has all supported fields.
b. Disadvantages:
you have no bugs fixed in the functionality, and you will have to fix them manually, if you need it;
and you have no new features.
c. Resolution:
please contact our Support Dept. and they will help you to fix bugs. Our Sales Dept. will provide you with a quote in case some extra work should be done in order to fix your system.
